Project: NAS Faculty social media posts
The University of Pretoria’s Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences requested a new social media campaign that shows lesser-known qualifications to prospective students. The campaign’s goal was to highlight lesser-known qualifications, all while establishing the faculty as a desirable choice for students interested in specialized academic and professional directions.
The project required obtaining premium stock photos to demonstrate both the faculty’s offerings and the range of career paths offered through each qualification. The visual selection process focused on matching content themes with images that engaged younger audiences through allowing them to visualize potential natural and agricultural science careers. The selected images aimed to both educate and motivate by transforming complicated academic subjects into understandable and attractive content.
All designs followed the University of Pretoria’s digital corporate identity (CI) guidelines to ensure visual consistency and brand authenticity. Based on the fact that multiple designers service the university’s social media presence, this campaign needed to integrate its visuals with existing content seamlessly. The campaign demanded meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive knowledge of the institution’s design language to create a professional and unified online presence.
The campaign achieved success through its integration of strong visuals and thoughtful content strategy while maintaining strict brand adherence which resulted in increased awareness of lesser-known qualifications as well as improved student engagement and a stronger digital footprint for the university. A professionally executed campaign matched to the brand that supported faculty goals to draw and educate prospective students.
